Put this out there so that everyone knows specifically what the moderators job on here is.

    1. To maintain the GlamRock.com Mission and to move any threads that do not comply or any postings that challenge it.

    2. To immediately and without question or exception, delete threads that -

+ Promote any product, service or visitation to any social or community based web site.

+ New members announcing their presence or existing members announcing a return from a lay off!

    3. Remain vigilant for duplicate threads. Please use discretion. Before deciding to close the duplicate, review the existing thread and note -

    a. Number of posts (10+ constitutes a quality discussion)
    b. Time elapsed since last post
    c. If it has a poll or not (Polls are preferred)

If the existing thread has less than 10 posts and has been inactive for over 6 months, it is a low quality inactive discussion so please, close the old thread and allow the new.

If the new thread is a clear duplication of an existing quality thread discussion, the proper protocol is to post a link to the original thread before closing the duplicate.

    4. Remain vigilant for double posts or double threads and immediately delete the second instance.

    5. To intervene with a reminder when threads go off topic and strive to ensure that the discussion remains relevant to the thread title/first post.

    6. To move inappropriately allocated threads to the relevant forum.

    7. Insert a youtube clip where an obvious opportunity to has been missed by the original poster.

    8. Moderators must not edit the contents of other members posts unless it is absolutely considered necessary. In that event, the moderator will need to make an italicized notation at the bottom of the post citing their name and reason for editing.

    9. To preserve the GlamRock.com culture of freedom to speak ones mind without fear, retribution or disrespect to their opinion as per the GlamRock.com Guidelines to Community Standards

    10. Detect and close threads that don't have potential to generate any useful discussion, are not in the community interest or throws out flame bait. Here is a good example of flame baiting What's the worst band?

    11. View first time posters who create a topic with great suspicion. Whether a new topic or a reply to an established thread, if the content posted adds no value to the discussion AND contains a link to another website, delete the topic/post and apply a bozo hold.
