This website seems heavily skewed towards '80s hair bands, some of which are terrible, and ignores some real glam. The most obvious is Bowie. Have any of you people heard of David Bowie? There is no mention of him anywhere. Why aren't Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane on the top 100 glam albums while ridiculous crap like Trixter is? Also ignored are the Sweet, who Motley Crue made a career of ripping off. No Gary Glitter, Suzi Quatro, Mud, Mott the Hoople,Jobriath,Hanoi Rocks, or Roxy Music. Why don't you call this website "Metal bands that were influenced by glam". That would be more accurate. Not having any mention of Bowie tells me that you people don't know what glam is and that you don't know what you're talking about.

Do you know this is a forum, mate? Members make up the discussion, its not like Amdin there makes allll the threads. If you know a bit about Roxxy, Suzi, Mott, so on, make threads about them. I know I'd be on 'em!
Although, I do agree that David Bowie not being on the Top 100 thing is an outrage. No offence guys! LOL! But when you think about it, this sites around to promote Glam, above all, isnt it? And Glam Metal is Glam on its most accessible level - if you know your Motley Crue and your Cheap Trick, so on, your bound to get into the 70s stuff. Motley Crue themselves, in the books they've released, have referenced a tonne of the cool 70s bands, and any Crue-fanatic would dubiously check them out. Good, eh?
Also, I was thinking of making a 'Whats Your Favourite 70s Glam Rock Band?' thread, and you've just encouraged me to check out if there already is one, and if not, make one

OK, wiki functionality is up so anyone and I mean anyone, can edit or create biographies of any glam band or any artist.
It really is so easy and detailed instructions on what to do are provided in this link.
