Yup.They just assume most of us went corporate, and have the expendible income.
Meanwhile screw those fans who "grew up" (or not) wanting entertainment careers, so they might not be as stable..... Stability is overrated IMO.....
Theres a Southern Rock band, who offered thousand dollar seats....except I think they threw in an autographed GUITAR too....but naturally I am not really thinking about THEM.
But.....I'm almost ready to lower the tone here.....(humbly apologizing for it....)
A thousand bucks should pay for more than a hug and a handshake....*ahem!*
*giggles* I recall when certain New Jersey venues outlawed camping out to get tickets.People used to camp out a week for Bruce Springstein.....*yawn*
Now theres the whole wristband thing.Thats in Cali too.
Still here in NJ the casino high rollers get free seats reserved for them when bands play,,,,and Borgata is the most expensive place in Atlantic City to see concerts.
Especially for a nosebleed seat, I'm not gonna pay it!
And....confession time here....once in San Francisco, I "worked" for a scalper....I stood in line for Stones tickets for a broker....but basically it was being paid to party....I had no responsibilities then....*giggles*
I remember spending 90 dollars, in 1984,at a "broker" to buy one 3rd row ticket to the Van Halen tour....you know....last tour with David Lee Roth....I snuck in a Kodak Disk Camera in my boot (remember those???)....the pictures were priceless...
