I'd rather not to be honest, I'd rather not get groped.

    If its choreographed its okay.

Did anybody see the movie Fathers Day with Robin Williams and Billy Crystal?

I was in it.(I got only 6 days work on it but I made connections from it and met the guy who ended up being my agent, tho he left the business right after 9/11.)

Robin Williams was tossed in the crowd,& he did some surfing. There was a moshpit too.But it was all dance steps and practiced a LOT.They had a specific goup of people to do it,so nobody got hurt.

stage diving or going in a mosh pit dosent have any appeal to me. it just detracts from the performance of the band

If *I* was in a band (and I was the boss) I would stop what we were playing and make an announcement to "Knock it the fuck off".Too many people get hurt, mostly people who aren't even involved with it.

But I think half the blame goes to venues that still permit it.Ever notice that the soundboards have barriers, yet theres rarely a cage for the moshpit?Electrical equipment is worth more than people apparently.
