I'm a console gamer myself. I've tried PC gaming and I just can't get comfortable at the computer to play games. Right now I have a Wii but will be getting an Xbox 360 soon. I've been working on Twilight Princess for the Wii, fantastic game. What games and platform do you all play?

I play both PC and Console games, and each have their own strengths and weaknesses.

There are certain types of games I could only imagine playing on P.C, or visa versa.

For instance, Real Time Strategy games were MADE for P.C

My favorite genre of game is RPG, and I enjoy those on Console and P.C

I prefer the pc. I get comfy in my recliner, put the keyboard in my lap and the mouse on the chair arm. I like city building games a lot. But a good RTS can hold my interest for a long time. Right now, I seriously addicted to WoW.

I guess my favorite genre would have to be RPG, followed closely by FPS I've never given RTS games a shot, I'd probably like them though.

Console games, I do okay. No sports though, I don't like it when the game has you keep controller over all your players at once, too confusing for me. I like simple things. Give me something crazy old like Zelda - search, hunt, find, mystery like I'm good, give me something to complex, watch me throw the controller down like a child would. :)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a gamer but I was over my bass players house last week and noticed he had a Wii. Turns out he's a crazy gamer.

After much resistance, I did weaken and challenged him to a game of 8Ball. It was kinda weird shooting without a cue but after I got the feel for it, the second game, I blitzed his ass on it.

    Still not a gamer. :-)

I think consoles are better for me, I cant sit in front of the computer too long. I know the reason why of course, a 60" big screen TV and old eyes to start with. I like consoles a little better, b/c my couch is a ton more comfy than my computer chair. Its good, but not as good as a recline-able couch.

I play online. I already have a computer and don't need extra gaming consoles. I play on Pogo.com and can listen to music at the same time I play!
CD or vinyl....hmmm...Now it's CD. I love CDs. They were unheard of when I was a kid playing my records. Putting a record player in you car? Nice trick. I like the idea of playing my music in the car (I don't have to deal with whatever they are forcing into my eardrums on the radio).

I pretty much suck at games. I did like SNES (mario, donkey kong, etc.), but once gaming progressed further than that I just never really mastered the controller. The one exception was Tetrisphere for the N64 (I loved that game). And now, who has time for games anymore? Once in awhile, if a forum has an arcade, I'll go there long enough to take the high score in Tetris though.

Tetris screws with my brain man, especially when things get faster. It's like my central nervous system goes into total meltdown.

But this one is my favorite move and the only reason why I still play the game. I probably like it because it is mildly sexual...hehehehe, but it sure cleans them out.

lmfao...my dad doesn't even know what tetris is...lol....i like that move too...but, now i've heard you're revwelation i have another reason to like it.

i play whatever games i feel interested in...from the 80s Commadore 64 to Arcades and Playstations...but i'd stay out of my way when i'm playing Tekken...i tend to get a little competitive..i know, unbelievable right?...*hee*

CD or Vinyl...well, both really...because some things are just virtually impossible to find on either. CDs are more accesible playing-wise in my house..due to 2 playstations, 2 computers (even if one of them is a secret), 2 CD players, and 2 DVD players...whereas our turntable hates headphones...and it's in the room people use for the tv...so heaven forbid you wanna play a record when there's a good show on...but then there's just that rustic original quality you get on a record that you don't on a CD.

The NINTENDO Wii is so fantastic.
I'm a BIG fan of Nintendo consoles, so much so i bought EVERY game released on the N64 but then did the same with the GAMECUBE? .....and i do mean EVERY game!
I must be almost up to date with all Wii games so far too!
Expensive hobby yes, it makes me happy though?
Anyone wanting a copy of Metroid Prime, Echoes for the Gamecube, i've got multiple copies [all sealed]

I don't get any of it. Though I just got my daughter Guitar Hero for xmas, thats probably the only thing I could get into. I have a friend trying to drag me into some online gaming, but frankly I don't know a damned thing. I'd be lost. I played Pacman as a kid in the arcades when it came out and thats it.

    Vinyl, btw.

I only play one game on PC it is called FF XI. The rest of the games I play are on Xbox 360, Playstation 2 and 3. I play Tomb Raider Legend and TRA and Angel of Darkness and that is also a classic Tomb Raider game. I play FF XI and Prince of Persia. I won that game but now I am playing POP Warrior Within. I also beat the game Tomb Raider Legend and TRA. I also beat the game Primal which was a very fun game to play.
I also play racing games from: NASCAR 06, 07 and 08. I play Gran Turismo 3 and 4 and some Need for Speed games. I have a racing wheel with 900 degree rotation and with force feed back, with gas and break pads at my feet. It feels like I am in a car. LOL. I have a 26 inch HDTV so that helps.

I'm not much of a gamer...tho I DID love playing Ms PacMan @ the Rainbow :D

Oh I love my vinyl....MEMORIES.....I still have my LPs but they're in storage in Hollywierd...I hate re-buying my tunes as cassettes.I have CDs now and a boombox that plays tapes AND Cds,and I bet I have an 8-track or 2 in storage lol.

Vinyl rules just for album cover art size and that certain analog wide dynamic range thingie you can't "taste" on compact disk....hard to explain.

    *sigh*
