lol yeah i think everybody that is into glam wishes they were a teenager in the 80s in l.a. there would be nothing better, go to the rainbow/wiskey ever night :( it makes me sad just talking about it i wish i could just build a time machine and go back lol. ok we can trade places if you want lol but you will get sick of it pretty quick and literaly no one here is glam theres only one hard rock club up in the city every saturday night its called back in the day its good but its mainly old people there lol

I've never been there, but I'd like to go (one day). It must be great. Most important: that's where Motley Crue made it!

I lived in IL. and I wanted to firstly go out to LA to make it big.then I auditioned for a band last summer, that will be big really soon I believe.Down N Dirty. They have a myspace.myspace.com/downndirtyband. Anyway,I auditioned for them, but didn't get in.the guitar player's dad is their manager and was the lead singer in a glam band on the strip called Badfun. Well,I told him how I wanted to go to LA,and he's like,"you know LA is pretty much dead now, rite?" And I was like,"what???" So he said there's a bunch of places where the market is better and he mentioned Texas to me.that's wat ultimately changed my mind.plus I've got family here in texas that I'm staying with.and everyone says that living in LA is just ridiculously expensive,so its a win-win situation for me I think

I love LA I lived there for seven years but you got to have money to enjoy the place. Its gone downhill just recently but when I lived there I was rolling in it and had a awesome time. I need to go visit again sometime. It is the rockin' capital of the world and I miss all the sun shine. I live in boring cloudy Oregon right now. I got the California blues I want to eventually move back to my home state even if there is a sales tax which sucks. :x

Well I am living in Cali, I have for a bit more than a year, West Holly to be precise, and really it's very hard to make it here, and I don't mean music wise, rather money wise, while there are many cool rockers, there are many stuck up assholes who hate glam with a passion, who i just can not stand, the music scene varies, but there is a small glam scene here and there. But truly there is no better place than LA,(in my opinion) I love it here and I'm defiantly staying for good. I hope some of the people who are saying they are coming to LA actually come, we need more awesome glam rockers here :D
