it gets harder for some people, when they have to narrow favourites to just one...and from their own country...so what is your number 1 glam band from your Homeland, Heartland?

If it'z from Manchester then it has to be Roxx as they were the only decent glam band to come out of here

lead singer is like a cross between Roger Daltrey and Martc bolan in looks.....but good choice...they're cool....btw...that look thing, could just be me sees that...it's happened before.

the fact that i thought the lead looked like Roger Daltrey and Marc Bolan...i tend to be the only one who sees it in people...other people can never see it..and i'm usually wrong....and therefore they don't really look like the people i thought.

Aerosmith..originally come from Sunapee, New Hampshire and I live an hour and a half from there!

well im from gettysburg pennsylvania and poison started from york, pennsylvania so POISON....is my choice

I cannot really think of too many glam bands from N.J besides Bon Jovi, so I will say them. They were awesome back in the 80's, and they are still surprisingly good to this day. Although they are not my favorite band period, I do like them a lot.

haha aniseed that's very cool. how come the fascination if you live in the UK? my grandparents live in pasadena, i live in glendale [next to pasadena]. i really love pasadena, i hate everything about glendale, i love to go to pasadena. it's like a different city.

Well, razzle-dazzle....she's a major fan of L.A. because someone lives there (well, someone lives in the general surrounding area) who she's a huge fan of!!

i don't know...i sort of had an amnesia thing and don't remember much of anything...i just know i saw something on tv about California....and i've always been interested in America anyway...and suddenly here i am at 5 years old telling my parents i wanna go to LA...my mum's a little small minded about it even now...thinks it's just some tiny place...i told her that's the understatement of the century...i think she also has me in "stalker classification"...but i hate the uk...and i'm getting out of here as soon as possible....it's not a bad place...it just holds bad memories for me...and they haunt me...i see all the bad things no matter where i go...it's like a prison.

yeah that's cool. surprised you know glendale though. the only big thing to come out of glendale was System of a Down [not glam at all!]. then Van Halen and probably a few others came from pasadena. i consider my area Los Angeles because it's all LA County, though glendale is getting so damn big it has its own school districts, public services, etc. that it's basically becoming its own city rather than a town! >:[ horrible place. when i move out i want to move to hollywood or New york city. but i digress.

well...when i'm interested...i really dig...it's not just down to bands that i learn things either...i looked into it for my creative writing, and possible future education..lol...not to mention plenty of other reasons.

I dislike English music very much...miscounting a few bands. So I don't have a favourite native glam band/artist I've tried listening to some, but I just couldn't keep it up...

well...you could try going as local as possible...like people do with sports...you know like..if England isn't playing they choose Scotland or something.
