In my year's as a big fan of glam,hair metal and such i think white snake had the biggest hair.dave coverdale in particular.His hair probanly added an extra foot to his height and it gave him the perfect look for a glam rock/hair metal superstar.

Don't think I have seen bigger band hair than Nitro, S-man. But then, I haven't seen all of Boy George's "dos".

Maybe it ain't big but DLR had the best style going on. If anyone knows if they wig this style, tell me and I'll go out and buy it.

"Show me a band with bigger hair than Nitro". haha The only thing I could say in relation to that, is that guys hair (the blond) looks exactly like my friend Shar's hair, the only difference is the color, she tried going blond one time and it ended up orange. Imagine prancing around with orange big hair, she had some guts!!

That would be the end of me I'm afraid I can not share that picture. But just try and imagine that tall off hair on a girl that is barely 5' tall, she defiantly got the height from the hair, and it took months to grow out. Even worse she has natural curly hair, so it almost fried it, shes really lucky it didn't fall out. Her mother was shocked being a lady that did hair color for a living, couldn't believe her daughter, first born at that, would have messed it up so bad. It was a great year to pick on Shar though!

Glenn, those guys are surely giving NITRO a run for their money in the Big Hair stakes!! Who are they? At first I thought it was Sigue Sigue Sputnik, but at closer glance I realsied it wasn't them. I'm stumped on this one!

It does make me wonder if that's really their hair or wigs. If it's real, I'd hate for it to belong to me when it's time to comb it out.

I think it was their hair. I had some pretty damn big hair... aqua net was a necessary item in the 80's. Kind of as important as toothpaste. )
