Blackie is a pretty gnarly dude! I think he has the best stage presence.

Out of those that I've seen live, I'd go with Sebastian Bach with David lee Roth a close second.
Out of everyone, Bon Scott is incredible even though you can't really consider him glam.

The best frontman is different to being the best singer.
IMO Dee Snider and then probably DLR are the best frontmen, but in terms of the singer then it's just about the voice. So probably Robert Plant (but back in the day- even though he's not that Glam).

Does this include bands both past and present?

If so, I would have to go with Freddie Mercury back in the day. He just had such a wide vocal range, along with his crazy and inventive stage antics. David Lee Roth deserves some serious respect as well, especially back in the 70's and early 80's heyday.

Kim Hooker (Tigertailz) , Alice Cooper and Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) are all great frontmen.

I am a Bach fan 4ever, but that has as much to do with my eyes as my ears (he's definitely easy on the eyes). Sebastian Bach is an extremely talented performer, but if I were judging purely by what I hear, hands down... Freddy Mercury is the all time best!!

Yeah! I forgot to make mention of Sebastian Bach, but he is definitely one of the best rock frontmen ever, although I still feel that Freddie Mercury is unmatched with his vocal talents, and few can come close to his quirky humor either.
