Each and every one of those songs are performed by Ratt Poison, the ultimate tribute to 80's Glam Metal!
I often hear 'Fox On The Run' quite often
And 'Bang A Gong' and 'Hot love' a fair bit, too
"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. (I don't spend a lot of time with the radio, tho.)
OK, today I heard "Bad Medicine" by Bon Jovi. Another awesome Bon Jovi song.
Keep 'em coming
Today in the elevator (going down), was Just Like Paradise by David Lee Roth.
How fucking good was that?
From the 48th floor down to ground. Enough time to hear that glorious chorus.
In the elevator...god help him...he's doing elevator music.
LMAO
I don't listen to the radio much, but I was in a store yesterday that had one on. I heard Queen so it caught my attention. You can't miss that voice. We Are The Champions was the song.
Ya, when Queen comes on it gets my attention. I heard "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Under Pressure" which David Bowie also worked on. I never got a chance to see Queen in concert. Bummer.
I heard "roundabout" by Yes - on myspace - does that count?
I hear Bohemian Rhapsody a good deal, but this weekend the radio was on an 80's flashback, rock out with a ton of G&R. Please don't ask how many times I heard November Rain, I could only answer "many". Also, heard Another one bites the dust, for some reason that song always makes me giggle after hearing about a friends car chase when he was younger to that song, and did almost bite it.
This week I heard Fat Bottom Girls (Queen) and Jump (Van Halen). Probably some other stuff too, but those two come to mind at the moment because I don't hear them very often.
HA!...who are you trying to kid....even Classic Gold and Magic don't play Glam Rock...radio airplay for Glam in the UK sucks!!!
Just heard the "Final Countdown" by Europe
living on a prayer
I just heard Judas Priest tonight. It wasn't 45 minutes ago. And I told myself I was gonna remember the song so I could post it here. But, I forgot it. It was a good one though.
Guess that's what happens when you get old. The memory goes.
....what was I saying?
what radio?
LOL
Last night I heard Bohemian Rhapsody I was so happy about that for some reason! ha had been some time since I heard it, and Yep....I still knew all the words! ha ha...others in traffic thought I was having a seizure or something I think!
How about commercials? I recently heard part of "I Was Made for Lovin' You" by Kiss on an eBay commercial and "Nothing but a Good Time" by Poison on an Xbox 360 (or Guitar Hero) commercial.
i'd say they count...but it's not up to me
This weekend i heard on the radio: Every Rose Has its Thorn, & your Mamma wont dance..(Poison).
Did not listen to the radio recently.
i got a ride to my friends house from my friends dad and Shot Through The Heart was on, funny cause that was the first time id listened to a radio in a long ass time
*Note to self: Pay attention and make a list, because you hear this stuff all the time, even at Wal-Mart........*
I normally don't listen to radio a lot, unless I'm in the car......... but, if Q107 (clasic rock station that kicks azz) or 97.7 (local metal/hard rock/metal..... oh wait, I said that...... station) is on, I hear a lot of different stuff.

oh...if the supermarket radio is included...then it was T-Rex: Children Of The Revolution.
oh oh oh...i was at the shops today buying some hairspray...and it's a good job the shop radio was on because if i'd had to focus on the mug of the woman serving me i may have possibly slit my wrists right there and then...but i knew the riff to the opening and indulged in a little GnR- Sweet Child O'Mine...then left the shop switched my iPod back on and listened to a whole number of other glam songs...but that's my radio entry so far this week..although i have heard titles discreetly mentioned..including my dad's new nickname at work which is slowly destroying my love of the song with the same name.
Just heard DR.FEELGOOD!!!!
I HEAR GLAM ALL THE TIME ON MY RADIO ...THE SATION I LIKE PLAYS IT EVERYDAY AS WELL AS A GOOD MIX OF TODAYS MUSIC.....TODAY THE SONG I HEARD THAT I'VE HAVEN'T FOR AWHILE WAS THE SCOPPIONS....ROCK U LIKE A HURRICANE
I don't mean to be pedantic here, but when exactly was the "Golden Era" of Glam Rock? For me, the Golden Era must surely be the early 70's seeing as it covered virtually all the popular music of the time rather than being a niche as it has been ever since. That being the case, a lot of the songs mentioned in this thread didn't happen until after the golden era had finished.
i think golden era is spreading across the main focus of this site...so including the 70s and 80s sides to glam.
