Any preference to who's version you like the best? Steve has been out of the music industry for some time now and not been anything to do with the Sweet since 1982.
Andy has never stopped being the Sweet and so he IS, WAS, AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE SWEET. [in my opinion]

one's head is big and the other is Steve....ok that was naughty...nor do i think that way really...and i actually really believe Steve has got a little too big for his silver boots these days.
Andy never quit the scene...such a trooper.
like what you said, IS WAS Will Be...

Good choice, probably the ONLY choice? Let's see what happens, if anything happens! That could be it A.R.

aye...the only choice in my mind...i'm not overly fond of people who can't make up their minds about whether to tour or not.
watching this is what i will have to do.

I had to vote for Steve. Only because Syndrome477 had got me brainwashed.
Honestly, my favorite Sweet songs are the ones with the cheeky Steve Priest voiceovers...Hellraiser, Fox, Blitz etc

I recently downloaded the A.S. Sweet release "Dangerous" and I actually think it's far better than Sweet's last two releases as a three-piece (Water's Edge and Identity Crisis). Haven't heard Sweetlife yet - does anyone have a take on that? - but I have to give Andy props for putting out new material, if sporadically. I'm curious to see what Steve comes up with. I've seen his band on YouTube, and they're not bad.

I voted Steve on the basis that he was a founding member of The Sweet. Andy wasn't. There were two guitarists playing alongside Brian, Mick, and Steve before Andy Scott came along. They were Frank Torpey and Mick Stewart, and the band did record with the Stewart lineup. For me founding members is the most important thing, as these are the guys that started the band.
