Mr2600, I'm with you all the way. Stephen Pearcy it is for me too.

Freddie Mercury is a really, really good & talented singer/frontman. I readily ackowledge that. However, I put him in the same class a Pavarotti. They are absolutely brilliant but I don't listen to Pavarotti because I don't like that music. Same with Queen. Great music but I personally don't like it.

I dont really think you could compare the two since there both very different singers and different genre. Mecury was an awesome singer, maybe vocally one of the best singers ever but Pearcy has the iconic 80s glam voice.

You can't compare the 2. They are worlds apart. A more appropriate question may be who do you prefer and why?

To which my answer would be Stephen Pearcy because watching Ratt live causes me body to move involuntarily and I like that.

Freddie hands down. Love Steve but Freddies operatic voice was incredible, he had awesome range and used his voice like a instrument. One of the best front men.

I personally find Pearcy sexier now than he was in the 80's.
