    I thought This Is Spinal Tap is hysterical but Feel The Steel is pure lyrical genius plus Steel Panther are also a very talented band, but I couldn't choose between them.

    The main thing is, is that they know why they are sending the genre up. Plenty of other people have tried to take the piss, but they do it just by mimicking what they see in Poison/Crue/Bon Jovi videos. Steel Panther do it because they understand it and it is all done with genuine love for the material. What I did notice about them at the London gig they played at the 229 Club was that when they picked on a 'fat chick' in the audience and pointed at them for being ugly or whatever, they weren't actually pointing at anyone in particular at all. They were not there to humiliate anyone (unlike so many comedy acts).

    I keep hearing posing indies and emos think they are being so profound by saying "didn't Spinal Tap do all this 20 years ago?" But that is such a stupid argument. It is like going to a stand up show and saying "didn't Richard Pryor tell jokes back in the 70s?"

    Kind of ticks me off that "Feel the Steel" was released in Britain (you Brits have all the fun, we yanks well get yanked) and we have to wait till fucking November for the album. I said fuck it, you can download I did and the album is great. I know alot of you are into free downloading and I am too but its too much of a pain in the ass.     yeah i bought the album off of that site too, i get it in a week though. I fucking love steel panther but spinal tap was the origonal, all though they both make me laugh. I actually got to talk to michael from steel panther on myspace and he's one of the funniest guys you will ever talk to

    it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

    Yeah the dude a fucking comical genius, some joke bands can't pull it off. You can tell these guys love the material their making fun of, their just awesome musicians. I still love Spinal Tap and their new album is out, its great too!

    As you can tell from my earlier post I fuckin' love Steel Panther. I haven't listened to an album on that sort of rotation for years. I feel like one of those kids that keeps playing the same on a toy over and over again. I can't believe after so many plays it is still making me piss myself laughing.

    totally agree with you ! but the bad part is the shit gets stuck in your head and when I go around sayin "my cock is community property" people crack up and then ask me what the hell I'm talkin about.. So then you have to let them hear it.. but Death To All But Metal is nothin but complete honesty.. and they're the only people who have balls enough to talk shit to 50 Cent not even gay ass rappers will do that !
