    No contest. Poison's songs were consistently a LOT better. I did like Warrant's "I Saw Red," but "Cherry Pie" is almost as annoying as "Micky" by Toni Basil.

    well i love both bands. Warrant made great songs like, cherry pie, DRFSTR, Heaven, quicksand and uncle Tom's Cabin but Poison ws around befroe Warrant and they were more glammy and their music was nothing but a good time! So yeah i am gonna have to say Poison rocks harder, sorry Jani

    it puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again

    POISON, but WARRANT are brilliant to, just not as consistant with the hits. Although it is about time Poison took out a new album with completely new material, instead of regurgitating some of their hits time after time.

    its poison for me. Heaven is one of my favorite power ballads, but poison had more hits and better songs. it also seemed that warrant ran out of creative ideas(well most glam bands did)

    i know it seems like we are never coming back. i know it feels like we r never coming back. you tryed ur best and you knew it wouldnt last. they were the words they wrote on her casket!

    K,poison is great,but in my opinion Warrant has way better musicians resulting in amazing songs.Poison does look better!

    Gotta go with Poison. Warrants fine as well i just think Poison were more for lack of any word inovative and original and better songwritters
    Warrant seemed until dog eat dog to be more of a follower type band i mean some similarities: Every rose: Heaven (very similar chord progression but both good songs) unskinny bop: Cherry pie Somethin to believe in: i saw red perhaps more than a coincidence and C.C played on cherrry pie though jani is a better singer then Bret c.c has much more personality than either eric or joey in his playing

    in general, I prefer Poison, but one of my top rated songs is Cherry Pie. It roxx so fucken hard and it has some of the cheesiest lyrics I've ever heard

    Poison. Love Warrant though, songs like "Love in Stereo" and "Down Boys" are immortal. As a rockin' pop glam metal band Poison had it all over Warrant. "Look What the Cat Dragged In" great stuff.
