Classic film and the soundtrack is probably the only decent thing David Bowie released in the 80'z

I saw it when I was 8 because of the Jim Henson puppets in it. I was on a total fix at the time. Then, of course, I totally fell in love with David Bowie as Jareth (who's one of the creepiest/sexiest villains ever). I watch it all the time, now.

Heh, I beg to differ. Scary Monsters is fricken amazing, one of his best, Let's Dance owns and Tonight, though flawed is great, for "Blue Jean" if nothing else (My daughter is named in part after this song).

As for Labyrinth, well, I experienced a major sexual awakening while watching this film for the first time, I don't think I had ever noticed a crotch like I noticed that one! Aah, the tights, the legendary tights! Bowie is the epitome of a Goblin King, sexy and dangerous, Sarah (Jennifer Connelly) excellent as the sweet, selfish heroine and fuck, I love Jim Henson and his creatures! Esp. Ludo and Sir Didymus, super cute. Also, the screenplay was written by Terry Jones of Python fame. What a combination, too cool! Though it hasn't aged all that well (A friend of mine said to me once that the only way this film could be gayer was if it had actual men having bumsex!) it's still a huge influence on me, love the concept and the costumery, just a shining moment of my childhood. Love it!

Oh, and introducing it to my daughter at an early age was cool as too, she used to run about, at 2 years of age, calling people "cowards" and going "Nothing? Nothing? Nothing, tra-la-la...". She used to crack up when he kicks the chicken in the "Magic Dance" sequence, and knew every word to that song...

You remind me of the babe...

Hey thats one of my all time favorites! I watch that thing all the time. David Bowie is just great and I don't understand why people don't use cool looking puppets in movies anymore. I am a fantasy film geek and this is one of my top movies!

I love that film to bits! I watched it every day for two months. Every day! Sometimes more!!!

I have a major crush on Jenneffer Connoly, when she was 14, in that movie. And David but that goes without saying

I personally blame that movie for my habitual sleeping with glam dudes... I totally imprinted on Bowie
