Well, these bands are more Trad Hevy Metal, and not exactly Glam, but I guess that's close enough... Well, the image-wise, atleast...

The first band listed, M.A.R.S. is a collab group, and the only black guy is Tony MacAlpine, obviously the 3rd one...

yeah, Black Death is a really great band, you gotta DIG the word play on their name, huh?! I could send you a link to their 1st and only album. Sound Barrier is also great, but the picture upload didn't fucken work! here's a link to some info on 'em: Sound Barrier @ Encyclopaedia Metallum

Tony MacAlpine actually plays Neo-Classical and Jazz Fusion Metal, I believe. He plays keyboards and guitars

Not a glam band, just a fictional character, but...
I saw this Clint Eastwood movie recently (I think it was called "Heartbreak Ridge" or something...) and there was this black guy who was kind of a singer/guitarist and he was sooo glam. I'm talking pink leopard-print guitar and everything.

Oh and I must say, one of the guys in MARS, the one in red, with those lovely red shoes... he's gorgeous! I love his style. MARS looks interesting, I should look them up.

I'm livin' in the 70s, I feel like I've lost my keys
I got the right day, got the wrong week

Yep that's Rudy Sarzo. He played bass for Whitesnake in the "Slip of the Tongue" album. He also played for Ozzy, Dio's 2006 live album, and 4 Quiet Riot albums, "Metal Health", "Condition Critical", "Alive and Well", and "Guilty Pleasures".

one of the original members of Twisted Sister was a black dude.

There's also been Phil Lynott, but Thin Lizzy were never really Glam.

There wouldn't have been Glam without Hendrix.

Good call on no Hendrix no Glam- the guy had style and it clearly rubbed off on the first wave of glam bands. LUV the ruffled sleeves and all the color.

There are a few obscure black dudes with glam cred. Pure Hell was an all black glam/punk band from the mid 70s. They had kind of a leather look, but definitely with glam flair. Also, Barry Jones played in the Idols (famously backing Sid Vicious on his final doomed shows) and the London Cowboys as well as a great stint with Johnny Thunders.

An argument could be made that Living Color was a glam band of sorts- maybe.

I mentioned that an argument could be made that Living Color was a glam band. In hindsight, I think that they were. The best category for them to fit is probably glam as they played straight up rock-n-roll dressed relatively fabulously!

For andywicked- I came across 2 songs by Pure Hell somewhere and they kicked ass! They did a filthy cover of 'These Boots Were Made For Walking.' I bet you could get a picture of 'em from google somewhere- definitely some glam to 'em!

Fucking Black Death kicks ass! All give them a listen, ultra bad ass! Apparently Auburn records is suppose to re master the original album and add a bonus disc. It seems Erasmus Chorum released one popular song called "Jungle" pretty crazy shit and don't all leave out Living Colour, their one of my favorite bands. Shows skin color is no barrier if you can kick ass or not.

    - N1v3n

Well, I totally think he counts! Though, I've found that most people don't realize he's even half Black...
He is without a doubt, one of the awesomest guitarists EVER!

little richard apears on "Cinderella - shelter me"

"There's also been Phil Lynott, but Thin Lizzy were never really Glam."
    - N1v3n

Phil Lynott's mother was from western brazil, and his father was irish i believe, so he is HALF-black

    a similar story about slash
    ----------------

what about jean beauvoir he was so glam, but his music was hi-tech

    best tracks:

    -Feel The Heat
    -this is our house
    -searching for the linght
    -missing the young days
    -find my way home
