    Rock has some bonafide classic albums, Zeppelin IV, Sgt Pepper so on so fourth.

    If you had to give 5 or 10 albums that are THE BONAFIED CLASSICS OF GLAM METAL, NOT CULT CLASSICS, BUT THE QUINESSENTIAL GLAM ALBUMS, WHAT Are They?.

    Ones that will give the best overview of the Genre and its history.

    Just to get us started...

    1. GNR - Appetite for Destruction
    2. Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love
    3. RATT - Out of the Cellar
    4. Quiet Riot - Metal Health
    5. Whitesnake - Whitesnake
    6. Skid Row - Skid Row
    7. Poison - Open Up and Say Ahh
    8. Def Leppard - Pyromania
    9. LA Guns - Cocked and Loaded
    10. White Lion - Pride

    thats a pretty good list, the only thing, id prolly change whitesnake for something like one of the first few hanoi rocks records or cinderella's night songs

    **And a MAJOR HONORABLE MENTION goes to: "METAL HEALTH" - Quiet Riot. Gotta salute the guys who had the first #1 glam hit! (RIP Kevin D.!)

    Man if I listed mine it would just be repeating the lists everybody has put up so far. But a few you have all left out is Dangerous Toy's self titled debut. Man that rocks like a motherfucker, David Lee Roth's "Eat Em' and Smile" and while we are on the subject one of the albums that jump started the whole LA hair metal thing Van Halen's self titled. To you purists Quiet Riots "Metal Health" did contribute the birth of LA hair metal but was already listed.
