I heard The Hangmen just now and I like'em! They sound a little like Junkyard, but I really like their songs Rotten Sunday and Last Drive. I like the song crown of thorns by Mother Love Bone, It's a cool ballad!

Yeah, Hangmen do sound alot like Junkyard, but their songs are pretty cool! Rotten Sunday I have loud in my car every Sunday I take a drive. Mother Love Bone is awesome, they came on the tail end of glam, Crown of Thorns is a pretty good song, my favorite is Stardog Champion. That song kicks major ass!

Yeah really, some of the bands I listen to such as Dangerous Toys, Junkyard, Manowar, and Bang Tango; not many people that I've talked to have really heard of them or like them for that matter. Wich is why to me it is a rareity to find a true metalhead such as yourself who has the same musical tastes as me. Oh yeah by the way I hope I don't annoy you, I seem to have a tendency to annoy people.

Oh no not at all! In fact I think the same thing about myself, I have a tendency to annoy people, always have. I pretty much gave up on trying not to because I end up being worse.
Yeah alot of bands people aren't exposed to I found out mainly through my dad, his band mates and my cousin. My dad played records theat were really off the wall shit, and his band members were the same, we had one guy in the band, the bassist whose friend had a record store that imported foreign vinyl so I knew of some of these foreign metal bands before alot of Americans got hep to them. My pops was the one who played me Dangerous Toys, Junkyard, Bango Tango, Shark Island, Mother Love Bone etc. I am with you there, I was raised on all that stuff.

Yeah my dad turned me on to alot of bands. He tried to make it musically but he was fired from a band called Jackyl when they we're a garage band. They made it big but he on the other hand is like me, he's stuck with a bullshit cover band. He turned me on to Danzig, Testament, Ratt, Judas Priest and a ton more. My mom was a metalhead in the 80s an so was my dad. My step father turned me on to Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Guns n Roses and Led Zepplin. See, he was one of those people that survived Woodstock. So he was basically a hippie pot head and my dad is just a drug addict period.

Dude, I think I have heard Jackyl before, so your dad was in that band? My dad didn't make it big but he has alot of cool stories of all the bands and people he met in the 80's. I was just a kid so I didn't tour with him too much only sometimes, mainly stayed home with my mom. But I did get to see LA Guns where my dad opened for them at the Roxy in 1986! I was only six years old! Danzig, Ratt and Testament are awesome! I love glam but I also love classic rock, I was raised on all that stuff. My mom was a real religious type and she didn't really approve of my dad's career or the music we played and listened too. I know the whole drug thing with my dad, that is the reason why I avoided much of that stuff. In junior high and high school I was stoned 24/7, but when I got older I stopped. My dad was in a rock band in the 80's so of course there was liquor and drugs all over the place, you know what? It just fucking sucks, that shit is just plain stupid and I can't believe I almost made the same mistakes as my parents. Their both fine now and my dad works as a producer for a studio in LA called Sands Entertainment, he helps bands and stuff, as well as being a camera man in the Warner Bros. studios so he is doing fine. Keeping on the subject ever heard of the band Slaughter? Their OK.

Yeah I've heard of Slaughter, I agree they're pretty cool. I've poster of them in my room from an old Metal Edge magazine. I think Mark has to be one of the best singers I've ever heard.Hey have you ever heard of RTX, Heathen, and Wrathchild. They're all pretty cool.
