Kickstart My Heart
Kickstart My Heart
I have a couple but the first that comes to mind is Dr. Feelgood, always makes me bounce around in the chair.
He's the one they call Dr. Feel good
He's the one that makes ya feel all right
He's the one they call Dr. Feel good
Aye Dr.Feelgood is great =)
But my favourite song must be Wild Side =)
Definately Smokin' In The Boys Room
It goes something like this -
Did you ever seem to have one of those days
When everyone seemed to be on your case
From your teacher all the waydown to your best girlfriend
Well, that used to happen to me all the time
But I found a way to get out of it
Sittin in the classroom thinkin its a drag
Listening to the teacher rap--just aint my bag
When two bells ring you know its my cue
Gonna meet the boys on floor number 2
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Teacher dont you fill me up with your rules
Everybody knows that smokin aint allowed in school
Checkin out the halls makin sure the coast is clear
Lookin in the stalls--nah, there aint nobody here
My buddies sixx, mick & tom
To get caught would surely be the death of us all
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Teacher dont you fill me up with your rules
Everybody knows that smokin aint allowed in school
Put me to work in the school bookstore
Check-out counter, and I got bored
Teacher was lookin for me all around
Two hours later you know where I was found
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Teacher dont you fill me up with your rules
Everybody knows that smokin aint allowed in school
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Teacher dont you fill me up with your rules
Everybody knows that smokin aint allowed in school
One more time
Smokin in the boys room
Smokin in the boys room
Teacher I aint foolin around with your rules
Everybody knows that smokin aint allowed in school

Don't think I could pick one favorite. But looking at all these titles sure does bring back memories. I love remembering old songs. Makes me think about the things I was doing when they were new.

Donna, I can see from your posts that you are a wonderful and kind hearted person.
With what you said here, isn't that what it's all about? The world we live in today, particularly after 911 is not the world that I wanted to live in. All we seem to be doing is flip flopping from one crisis to another. I'm sure glad I'm not a kid with todays pressures.
The world wasn't like that in the 80s. Sure Reagan declared war on the Soviet Union but it was tongue in cheek. Nothing was serious like it is now.
The 80s were such good times. People don't say the same things about the 30s and the 40s because they were tough times like they are today. The 60s were better and the 70s were good but the 80s ruled. It was in the 90s that things started getting tough and paved the way for the current uncertainty.
Sorry for the rant. Back to topic, "Piece of Your Action" from Crue's first album is good.
your rant is right on though Glamster...as an 18 year old...i can say that i walk into a shop and feel suspicious glares all the time....i wonder what people are working towards...because there doesn't seem to be much to look forward to.
PS- CinSyn...it isn't your teeth...it isn't anybody on here's teeth...it was my ex-boyfriends teeth.
dr feelgood
I've never punched anyone in the teeth, but I've gut-punched my ex for making a smart-ass crack about women. I was 20 at the time, but I was tough.
oh...mine was because...he laughed at me for going through my flower power stage...so i punched him...i guess that threw the whole peace and love thing out of the window...and then when another boy laughed at him getting punched by a girl...i punched the other guy...so there was then 2 people bleeding....
PS- i like Feelgood too...but i still love Kickstart simply for the classic riff.
i also like to young to fall in love and your all i need

The Crue have got way too many great songs to choose a fave!
'On With The Show' has always been a sentimental favorite and almost brings a tear to my eye. Especially after reading Nikki's comments on it in 'The Dirt'
Seeing the video to 'Live Wire' back in the early 80's was a turning point in my life -the song and the video just blew me away - I don't think i've been the same since..
Livewire and Looks That Kill ftw.
I love Livewire!"Livewire and Looks That Kill ftw."
