My best friends like rock in general, but don't are much fond in the glam music, althougt they listen without knowing, they ussualy hears Guns 'n roses and Bon jovi.

When i met my last bf, i had blue and pink hair. He siad it isn't a problem. i said, i like glam music, he said you aren't going to play that crap in my house and i'm not taking you in public with that hair. so i spent three years with a certifiable hippie. it got very old, so i found a new bf. This one puts up with me playing my glam and even accepts the occasional download i send to him. he grew up the same time frame that i did, but as he puts it he evolved into one of Lady Gaga's lil monsters. *tries not to barf* so while he loved glam as a teen and even into his twenties, by age 40 he has devolved into a gaga fan. i'm still working on him though lol. my family doesn't really care for it either, except for one of my sisters whose bf is into glam/sleaze/metal. He has had more of an influence on her than i have. but now at least if i'm playing a vid on my comp, she can recognize who the band is. Luckily she doesn't know the songs well enough to sing along yet.

The last girlfriend I was with was deep into country music. Hank williams jr, toby keith , reba mcentyre and all that stuff. I tolerated it, since she went to see went with me to see Motley Crue and wouldnt bitch about my record collection from the 80s. Today weve long split up, One day I had caught her huming along to Cinderellas Gypsy Road tho so im hopeful that something from my music tastes stuck with her. Wheres she at today , who knows ?

My world is all about glam. all my best friends, band are huge glam fans. Other friends listen to Bon Jovi, KISS and the popular bands from 80's, they don't listen to like Tigertailz or Nitro.

- metalrulesallMillions were spending $300 and over to see eminem in concert. and that goes for other crap of today like lady gaygay, and usher. For acdc and alice cooper I spent only $140 and got front rows.
The fans are the main reason why music and other things are they way they are fucked today. Perhaps if they didn't let themselves be brainwashed to support and buy all their shit cd's and tickets, we wouldn't have to live in such messed up world. I'm sick of people telling me, "ohh it's just music. Music can't hurt you."
Back then parents thought Elvis was too sexual and bands like Led Zeppelin and KISS were giving satanic messages to children, who were only singing about rock n roll all nite, party everyday, having a great time, forgetting troubles. The costumes were just a gimmick and didn't necessarily mean anything harmful. But now that we have rap and pop videos of shooting, sex, killing, bitching, violent breakups, etc. nobody is protesting against it and they let their children grow up with that shit.
If I ever have kids, I'll make sure they never have to listen to that crap and grow up with low self-esteem, self-conscious, etc.
I could keep writing all day about how society is fucked but I better stop because I'll go overboard. I'm listening to some Motley Crue instead!!

Well, part of my friends are metalheads and punks, the others are into hip hop style, but the whole of them just definitely hate Glam metal and describe it as "Gay music played by permed musicians whose sing like women 'cuz their clinging pants are too much tight for their balls". What else?
