    I agree Starr...it's totally about gender-bending.
    Somebody's in a bad mood.
(and how does a person's piercings affect drumming skills, anyway?)

Look at it this way: If you have to take more than one minute to decipher if someone is male or female, then you have just addressed an element of true glam.

    Best glam drummer: Nicko McBrain

The quote here after the colon symbol should be your signature, Richie. It makes all the sense.

Tommy Lee is definately insanely good. I love to listen to Motley and focus on the drums because he's so full of energy. It flows so well and is so crazy at the same time. It explains the Mayhem tattoo, lol.

I love Rick Allen too, of course. Gotta give props to a guy who keeps going when he had every good reason to give up. He sounds great and he's held back by what is probably the worst thing that can happen to a drummer. I saw him in concert over the summer, and man, he sure looks like a dork now, but he still nails it!

Go to my page here: Cindy Syndrome and check out the video where Def Leppard does a cover for the Badfinger song "No Matter What". It's not their song, but they do it very well.

Mick was truly unique, one of the greatest. Some of his fills and signature beats are unbeatable!

Robert Sweet of Stryper has one of the best drum sounds I've ever heard.

Nicko is a great drummer, but glam?? Richie, he'd poke your eyes out with his sticks and belt you over the head with his kick drum if he heard you say that!

Yes. Looking back at some photos he's not as glammy as I thought he was. I seem to remember on the Piece of Mind tour seeing him with a couple different combinations of spandex and weird lace vests...

Well then the next one I would choose would be Tommy Lee or Peter Criss. A good honorable mention is Vic Foxx.

I would have to go with either Tommy Lee, I just love his sound! He doesn't just do extremely basic rock rhythms, he makes pretty good beats up, Although many people wont agree with me on this, some might, when I say that all of Motley Crues sound, is down to the drums! :)

My other pick for the Best Glam Drummer would be Eric Carr, I love his drum sound, especially on KISS - Creatures of the Night! He Rocked! R.I.P. Eric!

    Fuck yeah
H.T.M. and Peppermint Creeps are awesome bands and I think Tracii is a good drummer...but I'm no drummer myself so i guess I'm not qualified to say who is the best drummer

I would say Mr. Steven Adler. Oh well, he might not be the best one when it come to technique but.. hes just glam to me! With his big blonde hair, smiley face and the bouncing up and down behind the drums :D You gotta love the Adler, such a shame that he loved the drugs too much

In no particular order, I'd say between: Tommy Lee, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum, Rikki Rockett, Eric Carr, Eric Singer, Peter Criss.
