i've met andy scott and mick tucker before and after a sweet gig, it was cool, but it would have been cooler if brian and steve would have been there as it wasn't the complete original band. they were cool and signed autographs, and played hits like action, hellraiser, and teenage rampage. they signed my copy of their shows on top of the pops, as well as others like alice cooper on their video called glam rock, needless to say, i guard it wiyh my life to this day, 17 years after the fact!

I'm pretty sure Steve Priest is a very private person and does not like a lot of publicity.
I'll bet it was a real charge to meet Mick Tucker.

I've met all of Bauhaus and Love & Rockets briefly at one time or another, and I've gotten everybody but Peter Murphy's autograph.
I actually ended up getting Kevin Haskins' autograph twice, once when I saw Love & Rockets, and once when he was playing drums on one of Peter's solo tours.

I also met Michael Aston(the blonde in my avatar) and the current lineup of his version of Gene Loves Jezebel, which I prefer over Jay Aston(the redhead)'s version of Gene Loves Jezebel
Jay's GLJ is more Hard Rock and Hair Metal, while Mike's GLJ is more Glam and Goth...but I think the best version of GLJ was when the Aston twins got along....or at least got along enough to work together and not keep suing eachother for the right to the name....but I digress.
Granted, these are "second generation" Postpunk Glam gods, but that works for me.
Peter Murphy is so Glam he sweats black glitter and pisses tinsel.

Oh, just to illustrate the Gene Loves Jezebel stuff I mentioned above, here's some YouTubin'

Jay's version of Gene Love Jezebel

    *Both twins...

    And Mike's version

...that should be "Exploding Girl", not "Exploding Gril"...it's not about BBQ accidents!

*While this song was being mixed in the studio, they were being recorded by some guy whose name escapes me....but he's best known for working with AC/DC and Def Leppard.
So anyhow, he's recording a song called "Heartache"...and has a heart attack...how's that for irony?

I met Gene Loves Jezebel briefly before a gig when they were still playing the club circuit in '87. Otherwise I know people who have met plenty of them, doesn't count I know. I know for a fact that Steve Priest is indeed a very private person.

I was fortunate to meet, Jack Russell (Great White), Kip Winger, Phil Lewis ( La Guns)
and Dave the Snake from ( Skid Row) We use to have a local club back in the early 2000's that would bring in a bunch of the hair bands we loved. It was great to meet these people I idolized (face to face) and have a drink and shoot the breeze for a while. Gene Loves Jezebel was there too but I missed that show.

Quite a few ~ Nikki SIxx, Vince Neil, Tracii Guns and all of Skid Row minus (post) Sebastian. Can't think of who else right now, but I'm sure there's more.
